A catastrophic landslide in Wayanad, Kerala, India has swept away over 250 homes and the entire town of Mundakkai. This disaster has claimed the lives of nearly 300 people, with many still missing as search and rescue efforts continue in challenging conditions. Thousands of survivors are displaced and have lost everything, including their loved ones.
Velicham North America is partnering with trusted organizations on the ground, in collaboration with local authorities, to provide urgent relief and support to those affected. We are focusing on:
Drinking Water Project: 1,620 CAD / 1,200 USD
Housing Project: 17,000 CAD / 12,600 USD (700 sq ft)
Education Assistance: 1,620 - 3,240 CAD / 1,200 - 2,400 USD per student per year
Self-Employment: 3,200 - 16,000 CAD / 2,400 - 12,000 USD per person
